About the Author

Gerald F. Hawthorne (PhD, University of Aberdeen) is professor of New Testament Greek and exegesis at Wheaton College and Graduate School. Prior to teaching at Wheaton, he served as a pastor and in leadership roles at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Dr. Hawthorne is the author or editor of numerous books, including The Philippians Verse by Verse, Colossians and Philemon Verse by Verse, and Romans 1–8 Verse by Verse.
